Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization.

If you have volunteered with us previously or attended a New Volunteer Orientation, you can log in to your Volunteer Hub account and sign up for shifts at any time.

Remember: If you are new to volunteering with us, you must attend a New Volunteer Orientation before signing up for a shift.

If you have lost your Volunteer Hub log-in information, or are unsure whether or not you have one, please email us at volunteer@tpc-habitat.org.

We welcome people from all walks of life to join us in building decent, affordable houses in partnership with future homeowner families, or to work a shift at the Habitat Store.

There is always room on our crew for a willing spirit, and no experience is necessary to help change lives*.

Volunteer time commitments vary; some volunteers dedicate every day to Habitat (we call them “regulars”) and others spend just a few hours each month.

No matter the frequency, all volunteers contribute to the construction of decent, affordable homes.

*Please be aware that Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity is unable to sign off on court-ordered community service hours.

The Difference You Make

"I wouldn’t be able to give my kids a house if it wasn’t for Habitat and everyone who donated all the supplies and came out to help volunteer. I really am very thankful for the opportunity. I want to let everyone know, thank you very much."

Hannah

Habitat Homeowner since 2014

Get Started

We invite all first-time volunteers to attend a New Volunteer Orientation before committing to shift on a build site or in our stores. Visit our Event Calendar for details on the next session. There is no need to RSVP; just come as you are.
