Following her AmeriCorps term in Tacoma\, Caitie became a construction trainer for Goodwill’s YouthBuild program. Now living on the east coast\, Caitie works as a Construction Site Manager for a Habitat affiliate in North Carolina. \nCaitie continues volunteering with Women Build because she is passionate about teaching and empowering individuals\, especially women and young people. For over 30 years\, Ms. Boyle’s leadership abilities and experience have resulted in numerous accomplishments in marketing and communications\, strategic planning\, mergers and acquisitions\, business planning and development initiatives. She received a Master’s in Business Administration from Seattle University in 1991 and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound in 1984.

DESCRIPTION:Join Sandi for this interactive Women Build Workshop and learn how to refinish a hardwood floor. This online session is scheduled for Wednesday\, March 17 at 4:30 PM PST. \nSandi will show the tools needed\, demonstrate the steps to refinishing hardwoods\, and discuss tips and tricks when replacing boards. \nClick here to register for this virtual\, online session. All are welcome! \n\n  \nMeet the instructor: Sandi\nGrowing up in a family of plumbers and handy persons\, Sandi began learning from a young age skills for maintaining and repairing just about anything. She began taking apart bathroom fixtures at age 8\, hanging drywall at age 13\, and working on her own cars at 16. \nFor seven years Sandi was a member of the team that created and led the City of Tacoma’s Neighborhood Makeover Week\, providing training to Tacoma citizens on home maintenance and holding an annual event to beautify Tacoma neighborhoods. She enjoys using her varied skill set to work on projects at her own home and sharing her knowledge with others.
