DESCRIPTION:More than 70 people will step off the roof of Tacoma’s Hotel Murano on Friday\, September 27 and rappel the 245′ to the ground to raise funds for Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity. This daring urban rappel is called the Habitat Challenge and you’re invited! Come watch the action and hang out\, or lend a hand as an event volunteer. \nEach participant must raise at least $1\,000 to get to the roof\, and that money helps build affordable homes in Pierce County. \n
