DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, March 11 Women Build Workshop participants will learn basic residential plumbing\, including the theory of drainage systems and water distribution\, as well as how to do basic plumbing tasks like unstopping clogs and repairing faucets and toilets. You will also learn the difference between a closet auger\, plunger\, and hand snake\, and when to use each. \n\nSpace is limited for this no-cost workshop\, and preregistration is required. This daring urban rappel is called the Habitat Challenge and you’re invited! Come watch the action and hang out\, or lend a hand as an event volunteer. \nEach participant must raise at least $1\,000 to get to the roof\, and that money helps build affordable homes in Pierce County. \n
