DESCRIPTION:Get your financial house in order with our financial literacy workshop series.\nThis free\, 3-part workshop series will cover: \n\nFinancial Goal Setting | Saturday\, June 17 from 10:00 AM to Noon\nCreating a spending plan | Saturday\, July 1 from 10:00 AM to Noon\nBanking while Black | Saturday\, July 15 from 10:00 AM to Noon\n\nAll sessions will be held at the Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity office\, on  S Tacoma Way. \nEach session will feature a door prize drawing for Fred Meyer gift cards (2). Light refreshments will also be provided. \nThese interactive workshops will help shape your financial future\, covering things like how our relationship with money shapes how we interact with it; ways to optimize your budget and modifying it based on the needs of the household; exploring the differences between being unbanked and underbanked; and learning what to look for when opening an account at either a bank or credit union. \nThis workshop series will be presented by Pathways to Homeownership Coordinator Samantha Bagley\, a HUD-certified housing counselor.  \n \n  \nTo learn about our free housing counseling program\, click here.
