SUMMARY:Pathways to Homeownership
DESCRIPTION:Join Tacoma Habitat and Jay Staples of Fairway Mortgage and Washington State Housing Finance Commission for a free\, 2-part workshop series centered around readiness for buying a home. The class will be held over Zoom from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM daily\, starting Wednesday\, July 20 and continuing Thursday\, July 21. Attendance at both sessions is mandatory.  \nThe series will cover the importance of a monthly spending plan\, how to get out of debt\, strategies to save for homeownership\, and the Washington State First-Time Home Buyer’s Class which is required in order to access State-funded down payment assistance programs. \nThe Pathways to Homeownership series is open the public\, whether you plan to buy through Habitat for Humanity or on the open market. \nPre-registration is required. Zoom link will be provided with workshop confirmation.
