Stipend Volunteers

As a partner of the Washington Service Corps, Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity is currently hosting 12-person team made up of AmeriCorps and Lutheran Volunteer Corps members who help make safe, affordable housing a reality for families in need in our community.

Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity's Americorps and LVC team provide a variety of services to our organization. In addition to acting as assistant site managers on our construction sites, they also conduct volunteer orientations, assist families through the homeowner process, provide on-site support for the Habitat retail store, and organize and facilitate special events.
