House Sponsorships

With house sponsorship, your company or organization can experience the whole home-building experience - from excavation to dedication. Habitat for Humanity will partner with you every step of the way to ensure your experience is fun, safe, meaningful, and successful.

Recent Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity home sponsors include:

  • Laird Norton has sponsored two houses as remembrances to family members. The most recent is the Sam Brown house in Tillicum which was dedicated August 18, 2012. The Lariosa family - Rolando, Maria Luisa, and their four children - moved in during the fall.

  • Milgard was a partial sponsor on the Jameson home (the veteran home) at Ainsowrth Vista. Mark Jameson and his family moved into their home in July 2012.

  • Nissan

    Nissan is a partial home sponsor for the Nguyen-Vo home at Ainsworth Vista. The Nguyen-Vo home was dedicated August 25, 2012. Chien Nguyen, Lieu Vo, and their children, Tan and Tuyen, purchased their home in the fall of 2012.

  • The Rotary Club of Clover Park had the distinction of sponsoring the 200th home built by Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity. This home was built in honor of Gene Pankey, a local businessman and rotarian. Additional sponsors on this home included The West Pierce CARES Foundation, Washington Drywall, The Professional Fire Services Administration Guild, The Rotary Club of Lakewood, The Tacoma Narrows Rotary Club, Lakewood First Lions Club, Christ Lutheran Church, Gene Pankey Motor Company, Designated Escrow, and City of Lakewood.The house was dedicated on August 4, 2012. The Ng family moved in during the fall.

  • St John Bosco Catholic Church is sponsoring a home in Tillicum in honor of parish priest Father Hightower. The home, which will be purchased by the Tran-Dao family, was dedicated December 15, 2012.

  • Thrivent Financial for Lutherans sponsors one home a year. The 2012 Thrivent home is the Gills home at Ainsworth Vista, which was dedicated November 17, 2012. The 2011 Thrivent Financial for Lutherans house is also at Ainsworth Vista - the Velychko home, which was dedicated in February 2012.
