The Woods at Golden Given

Located at 104th St E and Golden Given Rd in Parkland.

TPC Habitat for Humanity looks forward to beginning work at what is currently being called “The Woods at Golden Given.” Habitat for Humanity will build 30 houses for affordable homeownership in this development, located just south of the City of Tacoma in unincorporated Pierce County. The project will begin in 2012 and be completed in approximately two years.

At this stage in the development, Habitat for Humanity is partnering with local architectural and engineering firms to design a neighborhood that is high in density yet has a low environmental footprint. Plans for the property include several community spaces for children to play in, trails to explore the preserved wetlands on the property, and a community center for homeowner meetings or events.
