Volunteer Opportunities
Building on Faith needs a lot of volunteer support. For each of these days on the worksite we do not only need volunteers to help with construction. We ask for your support in providing snack and lunch, leading devotions, and greeting volunteers on the worksite. Before the build begins we also need support in fundraising and planning this event. You are more than welcome to volunteer as a group or as an individual.

We appreciate your dedication to our mission to eliminate substandard housing. We hope your congregation, along with others, will take on this exciting task! Sharing in sponsoring a Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity house is an amazingly rewarding experience that requires the involvement of people from all aspects of your congregation. As a sponsor, your role includes helping finance the house and providing volunteers to build the house in partnership with the family. It is a task that will be both challenging and rewarding, and most importantly, it is a task that will make a real and lasting positive impact on our community and Guatemala, where our tithe is used to build more affordable houses.
